LaserFlex

Has anyone had any luck using LaserFlex? I tried it on my 40 watt laser and the burnt area was so bad it discolored the shirt when I pressed it. The "instructions" said that it would look burnt and melted after lasering and it did. Was I running it with too much speed or power? I want this stuff to work so any help would be appreciated.
