About 2 years ago I upgraded my cutter head to the Byrd helical model. Alas last weekend the magic smoke escaped from the windings of the motor :eek:. Given I had bought the planer used about 5 years ago I believe it served me well. This gave me the needed excuse to upgrade to a Jet 15" with a helical head:D. However I have this rather spendy upgrade head sitting in a planer with a burned out motor. I would like to get $200 plus shipping out of it if I could. It costs $450 new so if you were on the fence to upgrade yours here is the opportunity to do it for less. PM me and I will get it removed from the carcass.
