Help, mineral oil streaks under shellac

I am new to shellac, and I was trying to pad on shellac so I put a couple drops of mineral oil on the wood before my first airplane landing.
there are streaks left by the mineral oil on Bare wood under the shellac.
the photo should give you an idea.
the problem is on 1/3 of one tabletop and about 1/16 of the other.

i padded on 2 light layers of shellac before I realized that the mineral oil might not dry.

should I:

1. Keep applying shellac and the oil will dry?

2. Stop applying shellac and wait for the oil to dry before I pad on more shellac?

3. Remove the streaky sections with denatured alcohol, then remove the mineral oil with mineral spirits, then reapply shellac.

4. Remove the entire layers of shellac, remove the mineral oil, then reapply?

5. Sand, start over, etc?
